Wilson Racing will be making their way to Oulton Park in Cheshire, for round two of the Hel Performance British Motostar Championship series, this weekend.

After round one, wildcard entry and 2017 standard class Champion, Max Cook stood on the podium twice collecting 40 points. Scott Ogden came home sixth in his best race of the weekend and Charlie Atkins, Jack Hart and Jake Clark all scored points.

This weekend Max will be on Red Bull Rookies duty and Osian Jones won’t be old enough to ride before the Knockhill round.

That leaves four to fly the Wilson Racing flag this weekend.

There are two rounds each season at Oulton Park. In 2017 there were a total of three races in which Charlie Atkins scored two sixth places and a ninth. Jake Clark hadn’t joined the team for the first Oulton Park round in 2017. In September last year it was the only round where he didn’t score any points and he will be keen to put that right this time out.

Scott Ogden rode for another team last season and also missed the April visit to Oulton Park, joining the Moto3 series later in the year. He scored and eighth and a seventh in September.

For the double Scottish 125cc champion, Jack Hart, Oulton Park will be a new track to learn.

The team are all very positive about the weekend ahead. You can follow their progress on the Facebook page. Click here for the official BSB timetable.
